1. In order to train highly qualified scientific personnel, the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences establishes annual scholarships named after academicians N.N.Bogolyubov, G.T.Zatsepin, M.A.Markov, A.N.Tavkhelidze, A.E.Chudakov, I.M.Frank, who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of fundamental research, formation and implementation the scientific program of the Institute. The scholarships are designed to encourage graduate students of the Institute and graduate students and university students undergoing internship at the Institute to achieve high results in their studies and scientific work.
2. 6 nominal scholarships of equal value for graduate students and 6 nominal scholarships of equal value for students are established, respectively. The amount of scholarships for postgraduates and students is determined by the order of the Director of the Institute. The scholarship Fund is formed from the funds of the prize fund of the INR RAS, funds of the leading scientific schools of the INR RAS, grants from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and Other funds, as well as extra-budgetary funds.
3. Each scholarship is established for 1 academic year and is paid monthly, starting from September 1.
4. Scholarships are awarded by the Director of the Institute on the recommendation of the Competition Commission. The composition of the Competition Commission is approved by the order of the Director of the Institute.
5. The submission of candidates for nominal scholarships is made by the staff of the Institute of Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences - scientific supervisors of candidates. Submissions are discussed by Scientific and Technical or Academic Councils of departments, the result of this discussion is reflected in the submission. Motivated submissions for each candidate are submitted to the Competition Commission from June 1 to June 30 of the current year.
The submission is submitted for a certain nominal scholarship or a nominal scholarship without specifying the name of the scholarship. In the first case, the Competition Commission has the right to change the name of the scholarship.
The submission should contain information about the candidate's success in studies and scientific work, including the results of state examinations, the defense of dissertations of bachelors and masters, etc.

6. Based on the submissions received, the Competition Commission for the Award of nominal Scholarships of the INR RAS accepts recommendations for the award of scholarships at its meetings in the period from July 1 to July 15 of the current year.
A meeting of the Commission is considered to have taken place if at least half of the members of the Commission are present at it.
Recommendations for awarding scholarships are adopted by the Commission by secret ballot separately for scholarships of each name. A candidate is considered recommended if, by secret ballot, he received a majority of votes, but not less than half of the votes of the members of the Commission present.
