The enigmatic star shining brightly in this beautiful picture is just the Sun, yet puzzling physicists all over the world by its neutrino fluxes and many other features. An inexhaustible source of challenge... But, perhaps, particularly surprising is the name of the mount under it - Free Spain, located in the Caucasus main chain...

Well, the Xth Baksan School is over now, and we hope the participants have basically enjoyed the recent meeting; any questions and comments on all the organization matters are welcome.

However, just like glaciated peaks sparkle in the Sun light, so a scientific conference glints its performances if the proceedings are reported by a good-shaped book. And this is exactly what we are in a position to do - publishing our School's proceedings. To this end, we need your articles. So, please, read carefully the instructions given below and prepare your contributions accordingly.

Instructions on Preparing Your Contribution to the Proceedings

Dear Colleagues,

Proceedings of the Xth International Baksan School "Particles and Cosmology" will be issued by the publishing department of INR. Every participant will receive a free copy of these Proceedings.

When preparing your contribution, please, use the following simple rules:

1) Please, use standard LaTeX.
   Our page format is attached at the end of this message. 
   Please, include any of your own macros and definitions 
   inside your LaTeX file (if possible, please, avoid any
   nonstandard extensions).

2) The page limits are:
   20 pages for the talk of 60 minutes;
   15 pages for the talks of 40-45 minutes; 
    8 pages for the talks of 30 minutes or less.
   (This limitation includes figures, tables, references etc.)

3) We accept figures as postscript (fig.ps) or enhanced postscript 
   (fig.eps) files. Figures may be either within the text or attached
   at the end of the contribution. We will not accept color figures. 

4) The DEADLINE is July 31, 1999.
